About Us
Currently based in Bradenton, Florida, Snow-Nabstedt Power Transmission Products has a long history of manufacturing single-speed reversing transmissions. For over 80 years, we have been creating unique transmissions for the textiles, industrial, golf & tennis industries, as well as production equipment and underground boring equipment. We have also had the opportunity to work with many woodworking applications, and with colleges to create industrial drives for engineering business courses.
Snow-Nabstedt History
Our story began in Hamden, Connecticut, in the mid-1930s. After a brief 35-year layover in Manchester, New Hampshire, we have moved to Florida, where we have joined with our parent company, all under one roof. We endeavour to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire process; to do this, we have a technical support line available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on every day of the year. Our team is always professional and courteous, and eager to assist you with your questions or concern.

Every one of our transmissions is sold with a one-year warranty, and will come with a detailed parts manual. We guarantee reliable products, created with the highest quality available. As well, inventory is available for shipment on the day an order is placed.

Snow-Nabstedt Power Transmission Products is the only manufacturer of transmissions with “shift on the fly” capability – essentially, you are able to shift into reverse from going forward at 3,600 RPM; this is an exceptional tool in any industry.
